Head and Neck Cancer Symposium 2021
Saturday, April 17th, 2021
10am- 2:30pm CST
Join us for a free interdisciplinary virtual conference on a variety of talks related to head and neck cancer management and survivorship - with ENT/otolaryngology, dental surgery, engineering, speech-language pathology, and patient perspectives. Learn how multiple disciplines within medicine and research work together with patients and the community to support and enhance survivorship. Also learn of a cross-cultural survivorship story first-hand, from a young cancer survivor based in Australia. This symposium has been organized by speech-language pathologists Wendy Liang and Rinki Desai. It will consist of a series of virtual webinars by an expert panel, followed by a round-table Q&A discussion at the end. Moderators will field written questions/comments from attendees throughout the event, and all questions will be addressed during the final panel discussion segment. Patients, caregivers, students, CF-SLP, CCC-SLP, and allied health professionals are all welcome. 4.0 TSHA CE hours (accepted by ASHA) will be offered for this symposium. Upon completion of registration, the Zoom link and passcode will be sent to attendees via email.
